So we are on our to wichita falls to meet with housing and I added mobile blogger so it seemed like a good time to update. I love my MIL but I hate staying at her house. (do not mention on fb please) she smokes inside and it kills me having daphne there. I feel like a bad mommy. We should be gone this week though. I finally got some good nursing bras. That was a biggie i havent been fitted in 3 yrs. We are buying furniture soon, we have to get a washer and dryer. We bought a car 06 sentra. Thats about it please excuse the typos and lack of puncuation im updating from my cell :)

Last post from the horrible Republic of Korea

Thank jebus, I am almost home. Well due to my military lifestyle "home" has become a very vague term, usually referring to where I lay my head. Right now home is the Dragon Hill Lodge in Yongsan aka Seoul, KR. Daphne had her 6mos appt yesterday. Her poor little leggys had 4 Dora the Explorer Band-aids on them. She also received the controversial H1N1 vax. She had a fever last night and it seems to be tapering off this evening.

Update on Daphne, she can tripod, she sits if she wants to which is rare, and she loves to try and crawl. Her legs are crawling already, but her hands stay put, it is quite comical. Still not sleeping through the night, but still BFing which gives me a great sense of accomplishment after the 7weeks of pumping.

So we fly to TX on friday. From Seoul to California is 10 hrs, then from Cali to Dallas is about 3hrs. I got Daphne her own seat. Our seats are the last row in the middle section so I feel for whomever sits in front of Daphne bc she will be rearfacing in her carseat and they won't be able to lean their seat back.

Speaking of rearfacing I think everyone should know the AAP suggests you rearface your child until the maximum RF weight/height of the seat. I will be RF Daphne until 45lbs and FF her until 80lbs.

I don't know why people would rather have internet or ipods or flashy phones than buy their kid a carseat that allows them to ride as safe as possible for the longest amount of time. And I do not understand why people would forward face their child before they have to.

BTW I do not ever mean to offend anyone, your choices are your choices, I just need to vent sometimes and I have too many FB friends that are family to do it there. And my family on blogger *Hi Taz* generally has the same views as me and when she doesn't I don't believe she takes it personal ;D

Moving & PPD

Ok so half of our stuff is on it's way to Texas and the other half gets shipped on the 25th. I still haven't been treated for PPD. The behavioral health clinic gave me a pamphlet on anxiety and told me to take a parenting class. That pissed me off, I don't need a parenting class, I don't need a pamphlet. I need to get back on my anti-depressants.

On to happier news

We are car shopping online right now, hoping maybe we will know what we want when we get to TX. The biggest issue is space for the rear facing SSK Radian 80SL

On the hush hush Facebook friends :)) My step-MIL is throwing a baby shower for me so I got to make another registry... well I edited the first one since nothing was bought from it :(( But this one was a lot more fun bc I got to pick out toys and things of that nature.

Speaking of toys Daphne LOVES her Leapfrog Scout it's awesome he sings her songs and says her name :D
She also likes Baby Signing Time and can recognize the sign "milk" I have heard around 6 mos they start signing back. She doesn't watch the videos btw, she watches me and I sing and sign to her.

My MIL is having a mini Christmas for Daphne when we arrive, which I kinda wish she wasn't, she is scared she might get laid off soon.
